'Ralph Breaks the Internet' is more than an expanded story from 'Wreck-It Ralph'.

According to the article from Roger Ebert, I totally agree with his opinions about ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet'. This movie is the second part of the first movie which is ‘Wreck-It Ralph'. It is more than the continuing story, but this movie presents a new lesson to the audience. Their messages are clear to adults and it is fun for children.

So many animations teach children about teamwork, fighting with bad people, and looking for a solution. However, this movie gives us more than that. The same protagonist from the first film appears on screen for the few first scenes to relate and tell a story about Ralph and Vanellope. The main characters are in the arcade game. Even in real life, it is rare to find an arcade game centered in the time when the internet was invented. Vanellope decides to go through a Wi-Fi router and explore the internet world. She finds that her driving skills are very good at ‘Slaughter Race', which is inspired by ‘GTA' (The most famous racing game). Firstly, Ralph feels that Vanellope betrayed him and their relationship will no longer be the same. He used to have her as a best buddy who he could talk to and hang out with in ‘Litwak's Arcade'. After they went through a risky adventure, he realizes that Slaughter Race is the place that she belongs to stay. He has to respect her decision and accept that. The movie shows their teamwork and the truth of being themselves.  Their friendship will be forever no matter if they are different.

Besides the ideas from the plot, their scenes also amazing. They created this movie as a parallel world within the real world. They show so many familiar brands on screen like eBay, YouTube, Amazon, Twitter, etc. This message is directly sent to audiences because they can recognize those logos and they can think critically by comparing this movie with their own personal experience. They also have the scene of ‘Disney Princess' which is clever. They ridicule the old concept about Disney Princesses that will sing and wait for a prince to come help. (Ralph Breaks the Internet is also produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios.) These reasons made this movie hilarious. You can compare the differences from the old world with the new world and the impact it has on everybody’s life.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is more than a sequel movie that will continue to tell the story after the first part. It is not only the new adventure of Ralph and Vanellope, but also the changing relationship between them which is sad but true. It reflects on the real world by using main characters to send a message to audiences.
